The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Boeing Field/King County International Airport Runway Diagram Print
Boeing Field is a two-runway field: 14R/32L runs 10,007 by 200 feet, and 14L/32R runs 3,709 by 100 feet beside it. Both surfaces are asphalt, and that pairing is what gives the diagram its shape. The long runway cuts a northwest to southeast diagonal across the full height of the sheet, the short parallel strip tracks alongside it, and the taxiways, aprons and hangar rows fill in around them over roughly 634 acres of ground. The linework is drawn to scale from the airport's published layout, then set on a ground tone you choose.
The field opened in 1928, after King County voters approved a plan for the region's first municipal airport, and it carries the name of William E. Boeing, founder of the Boeing company. Through the 1930s it was Seattle's only passenger terminal, with flights running south to Portland and San Francisco, and it stayed the city's primary airport until Seattle-Tacoma International opened in 1944. Initial assembly of the Boeing 737 happened here in the 1960s, until production moved to Renton in late 1970. The Museum of Flight opened on the southwest corner of the field in 1987.
One detail on the print is newer than the airfield itself. The runway designators changed from 13/31 to 14/32 in August 2017 as the magnetic heading shifted, and the diagram carries the current numbers, not the old ones. Field elevation is 22 feet, magnetic variation 15E, on low ground about four miles south of downtown Seattle.
