The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Craig Field Runway Diagram Print
Craig Field works one runway, and the print gives it the whole sheet. Runway 15/33 runs 8,014 feet by 150 feet in asphalt and concrete, a single long diagonal on a field sitting at 166 feet of elevation, with the magnetic variation of 3W noted small in the corner the way a chart carries it. Plotted to scale from the published runway data, it reads as one clean line with open ground on either side, which is what a former military airfield looks like from above once the traffic has thinned out.
That much runway on a field this quiet is a leftover. This was Craig Air Force Base, an undergraduate pilot training installation flying T-37 Tweets and T-38 Talons under the 29th Flying Training Wing until it closed in 1977. The base went active on August 4, 1940, and two permanent parallel runways of matched length, laid in asphalt and concrete, were finished in October 1941. Cadets trained there on AT-6 Texans and later on the twin engine B-26 Marauder, British, French and Dutch pilots among them, and more than 9,000 American pilots had come through the program by the end of the war. The second parallel is still on the ground but closed, so 15/33 is the only strip maintained. The field is four miles southeast of Selma in Dallas County, Alabama, on 1,790 acres run by the Craig Field Airport and Industrial Authority.
