Materials
Fine Art Print: pigment giclée printing on heavyweight 330 gsm (17 mil), 100% cotton Hot Press paper, on regularly calibrated giclée printers. The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Auburn University Regional Airport Runway Diagram Print
AUO reads as a lopsided cross on the wall. Runway 18/36, 5,264 by 100 feet of asphalt, runs almost straight up and down the sheet as the longest dark bar in the composition, and runway 11/29, 4,000 by 75 feet, slants in from the upper left and cuts across it close to the 18 threshold. That off-center crossing is what gives the layout its character: most of the picture is one long spine with taxiway loops stacked beside it, and the second strip hangs off the top like a raised arm reaching toward the right edge. Elevation is marked at 777 feet.
The field sits two nautical miles east of downtown Auburn, in Lee County, and covers 423 acres. It began as a grass field, and when the Auburn to Opelika airfield was first constructed in 1930 it was private, built to serve both towns. In 1939 Alabama Polytechnic Institute, now Auburn University, bought it to train pilots for the war effort. The two runways you see here were reconstructed during the 1960s, and 18/36 was extended and widened to 100 feet in 2002, which is why it dominates the frame the way it does. In 2024 a temporary control tower building went up on the grounds, making it a controlled field during operating hours.
For 2011 to 2015 the airport was included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems as a general aviation facility, and that is the scale the diagram keeps: hangar rows in the northeast corner, a compact terminal cluster mid field, apron pavement to the southwest. Drivers reach Columbus, Georgia in about 40 miles on US-280, and Montgomery, Alabama in about 60 miles on I-85, so this is a field with real distance around it.
