Finish Fine Art Print pairs 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper with pigment giclée printing for rich color and a smooth matte finish. Supplied unframed. Orders containing only paper prints ship flat. Framed Fine Art Print presents the same cotton paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame, with a white beveled mat and optical-grade clear acrylic. The mat is included, and hanging wire is already installed. Glossy Metal Print brings vivid color to coated aluminum through dye sublimation. The glossy surface resists scratches and water; the included hidden mount positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall.

Description

A runway diagram map print of Lagrange/Callaway Airport (LGC), made from the airport's own layout for the place it holds in your life. Choose your colorway and your format: a fine art giclée print on cotton paper, a framed fine art print, a glossy metal print or a digital download.

Your fine art print is made to order with pigment inks on heavyweight, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, a 330 gsm sheet with a high color gamut and deep black density. The acid-free, archival-grade paper has a smooth matte surface. Supplied unframed, ready for your own frame.

Materials

Fine Art Print: pigment giclée printing on heavyweight 330 gsm (17 mil), 100% cotton Hot Press paper, on regularly calibrated giclée printers. The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.

Dimensions

Fine Art Print: 8 x 10, 16 x 20, and 24 x 30 inches.

Made like something you keep.

The field itself

This is Lagrange's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

Lagrange/Callaway Airport Runway Diagram Print

LGC draws as a clean X. The print plots two runways at Lagrange/Callaway: 13/31 running 6,499 feet from the upper left down to the lower right, and 03/21 running 5,000 feet from the lower left up to the upper right. They cross left of center, each one 100 feet wide, and that single crossing point is what carries the whole composition. Nothing else on the sheet competes with it.

Because the two strips meet at an angle rather than lying parallel, the field reads as motion instead of a grid. The 6,499 foot runway is the longer arm and the eye follows it first; 03/21 cuts underneath and pulls the shape back into balance. Taxiways and apron pavement sit in a lighter tone around the northeast side, with hangar blocks clustered near the middle right, so the dark runway pair stays dominant from across a room. Field elevation is 694 feet, printed small under the identifier with the coordinates.

It suits anyone with a reason to look at this particular field: a pilot based here, someone who learned to land on 13, a family in west Georgia. The same layout logic applies to nearby fields in the catalog, so an LGC print hangs well beside Columbus to the south or Carrollton to the north, and the set builds into a regional wall without repeating a silhouette.

Lagrange (LGC) print, common questions

How many runways does LGC have, and how long are they?

Two. Runway 13/31 is 6,499 feet long and 100 feet wide with an asphalt surface, and runway 03/21 is 5,000 feet long and 100 feet wide, also asphalt. Both appear on the print, crossing in an X.

Where is Lagrange/Callaway?

In Lagrange, Georgia, at roughly 33.0092 degrees north and 85.0732 degrees west. The field sits at 694 feet of elevation, which is noted at the bottom of the print with the coordinates.

What does the code LGC mean?

LGC is the three-letter identifier for Lagrange/Callaway, and it is the code set in large type on the artwork. The four-letter version used internationally is a different string and is not what appears here.

Is the layout accurate to the published diagram?

The runway pair, their crossing angle and the surrounding pavement are plotted from published airport information for the current charting cycle. This is artwork composed for a wall rather than a navigation document, so fine details may be simplified or omitted. Markings, lighting symbols and small service roads are the usual candidates.

Does this work as a gift?

It does, especially for someone tied to this field: a first solo on 13/31, a hangar at Lagrange, a home under the approach. The X shape is legible from across a room, so the recipient recognises it before reading a word.

What formats can I get this LGC artwork in?

There are four. A Fine Art Print on its own, the same image as a Framed Fine Art Print ready to hang, a Glossy Metal Print with a hard reflective face, and a Digital Download if you would rather have the file. The physical versions are made to order; the download is a file you receive.
