The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Johnson County Executive Airport Runway Diagram Print
Johnson County Executive draws as one runway and nothing else: 18/36, 4,097 feet long and 75 feet wide, concrete. In the print it reads as a single dark stripe running straight down the middle of the sheet, unbroken, with 18 set at the top end and 36 at the bottom. A taxiway runs parallel along each side for part of that length, and the pale apron shapes gather toward the north end, which leaves the lower third of the composition as one line in open space.
The runway, taxiways, apron and hangar rows come from published airport information, with the identifier, city, coordinates and elevation set in the lower right corner. Hangar blocks stack in tidy rows on the west side and again along the northeast apron, so the upper half carries the weight and the runway carries the rest. On a wall the appeal is the geometry rather than the detail: one long vertical, two thin parallels, a scatter of rectangles, all in the colorway you choose.
The field began as a naval auxiliary landing field in the Second World War, was deeded to the city of Olathe in 1951, and passed to Johnson County in 1967. Air Midwest flew scheduled service here from 1973 through 1977 and again briefly in 1984, including nonstop flights to Kansas City. Measured by aircraft operations it ranked fourth busiest in the state in 2018, which is steady work for one strip of concrete.
