Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.

Schenectady County Airport Runway Diagram Print
Schenectady County Airport draws as two black runways that cross low and off center, and that off balance crossing is the whole reason this one works on a wall. Runway 04/22 is the long strip at 7,001 by 150 feet, and in the print it rises at a steep tilt from the 4 threshold near the bottom edge to the 22 threshold at the top right. Runway 10/28 measures 4,850 by 150 feet and runs almost flat across the lower third of the sheet, meeting 04/22 well below the middle. Both are asphalt, and the field sits at 378 feet of elevation.
The airport is county owned, open to public use, and lies about three nautical miles north of the central business district of Schenectady. It was founded in 1927. Its military enclave, Stratton Air National Guard Base, has hosted the New York Air National Guard 109th Airlift Wing since 1949, and the base carries the name of Sam Stratton, a US Representative who represented the Albany area. Since 1971 the wing has supported National Science Foundation research expeditions at the North and South Poles, flying ski equipped LC-130 Hercules aircraft.
