Fine Art Print: 8 x 10, 16 x 20, and 24 x 30 inches.

Made like something you keep.

The field itself

This is Orlando's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

Kissimmee Gateway Airport Runway Diagram Print

ISM is Kissimmee Gateway, and on this print it reads as one clean X. Two runways cross a little above and left of center, and everything else on the sheet (taxiway loops, apron shapes, hangar rows) sits in a quiet grey around them. The airport is a public field in Kissimmee, in Osceola County, about 16 nautical miles southwest of the central business district of Orlando, which is why the caption block under the identifier reads Orlando, Florida.

The long stroke is 15/33, asphalt, 6,001 ft by 100 ft, dropping from the 15 threshold near the top left down to the 33 threshold at the bottom right. The second runway is 06/24, also asphalt, 5,001 ft by 100 ft, running up from the 6 end at lower left to the 24 end at upper right. Because the two are close in length and cut across each other at a wide angle, the crossing lands off center and the whole composition leans, which is what keeps it from looking like a symmetrical logo. West of the intersection the taxiways braid into terminal and hangar blocks; east of it, tight rows of small hangars read almost like hatching. Elevation 82 ft is printed at the bottom with the coordinates.

The field opened in 1940 as Kissimmee Army Airfield, used by the Army Air Forces as part of the School of Applied Tactics, and it closed in 1945 before returning to civilian use by the end of that year. Today it has an operational control tower and a Category I instrument landing system on its main runway. On a wall the X does the work: strong diagonals, a lot of open margin, and enough small detail to hold up close. It hangs well on its own, and it sits comfortably beside another Florida field such as Tampa if you want a pair. Ink weight and background shift with the colorway you choose, but the drawing does not change.

Orlando (ISM) print, common questions

How many runways does ISM have, and how do they sit?

Two. Runway 15/33 and runway 06/24 cross each other, which is why the print reads as an X rather than as parallel strips. The crossing point falls slightly left of the sheet's center.

How long are the runways at Kissimmee Gateway?

The longest is 15/33 at 6,001 ft by 100 ft, asphalt. The other, 06/24, is 5,001 ft by 100 ft, also asphalt. Both are drawn to their published proportions relative to each other.

What does ISM mean and where is the airport?

ISM is the identifier for Kissimmee Gateway, a public airport in Kissimmee, Osceola County, Florida, roughly 16 nautical miles southwest of the central business district of Orlando. It sits at 28.2898 N, 81.4371 W, with a field elevation of 82 ft.

How accurate is the diagram?

Runway positions, lengths, widths and orientations are plotted from published airport information for cycle 2610, effective September 3, 2026. It is a design print, not a navigation document: fine details may be simplified or omitted, and small markings, lighting and signage are not shown.

What sizes are available?

Several standard portrait sizes, printed to order. The layout is composed for the frame, so the X keeps its margins at any size, and the colorway you choose sets the background tone and ink weight.

Is this a good gift for a pilot who flies out of Kissimmee?

Yes, particularly for anyone who trained or based here. The crossing runways and the labelled thresholds are recognizable at a glance to someone who has taxied the field, and the caption block carries the identifier, coordinates and elevation.
