The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.

Dimensions

Fine Art Print: 8 x 10, 16 x 20, and 24 x 30 inches.

Made like something you keep.

The field itself

This is Sheboygan's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

Sheboygan County Memorial International Airport Runway Diagram Print

SBM plots as an X. Two runways cross a little above center: 4/22 is the long one, 6,801 feet by 100 feet on concrete, climbing from the lower left of the sheet to the upper right, and 13/31 is shorter and narrower at 5,002 feet by 75 feet on asphalt, falling from upper left to lower right. Because the intersection sits high, the bottom third of the composition stays open for the pale grey taxiway web, the apron and two tight clusters of hangar blocks south of the crossing. The identifier, the city line, the coordinates and ELEV 755 FT sit quietly in the lower right corner.

The field is county owned, public use and non towered, set in the Town of Sheboygan Falls about three nautical miles northwest of the City of Sheboygan. Sheboygan's National Weather Service observation station is based at the airport. It also serves as a link to local attractions including Road America and county golf courses such as Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits, and the Aviation Heritage Center of Wisconsin sits east of the customs and terminal facility.

In 2021 a U.S. Customs and Border Protection User Fee Facility opened here, enabling direct international arrivals rather than a clearance stop at a larger airport like Appleton or Green Bay. In 2024 the field logged about 22,600 aircraft operations, roughly 62 a day. None of that shows up in the drawing, of course, which is part of why the X works: it is a shape you recognize from the air, reduced to two dark diagonals over a quiet ground plan. The colorway you choose sets how hard those diagonals hit the wall.

Sheboygan (SBM) print, common questions

How many runways does SBM have, and how long are they?

Two. Runway 4/22 measures 6,801 feet by 100 feet with a concrete surface, and runway 13/31 measures 5,002 feet by 75 feet with an asphalt surface. Both are drawn on the print, and they cross to form the X.

What does SBM stand for and where is the airport?

SBM is the identifier for Sheboygan County Memorial International, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, at 43.7698 N, 87.8517 W. The airport lies in the Town of Sheboygan Falls, about three nautical miles northwest of the City of Sheboygan.

What is the field elevation at SBM?

755 feet above sea level. That figure is printed under the coordinates in the lower right corner of every copy.

How accurate is the diagram?

The runway layout, designators and orientations are plotted from published airport information for cycle 2609, effective 2026-08-06. It is a design piece, not a navigation document: fine details may be simplified or omitted, and it should never be used for flight planning.

What sizes and finishes are available?

The layout is composed to hold up across the standard sizes, from a small desk-side piece to a large statement print, as a fine art print, framed or on metal. The X-shaped geometry gives SBM a strong diagonal read, so it carries well at bigger sizes and in landscape-heavy rooms.

Does this make a good gift for a pilot or local?

Yes. It reads clearly to anyone who has flown into the field or driven past it, and the two crossing runways make it recognizable even without the label. Every print is made to order and ships free within the US.
