Batten International Airport Runway Diagram Print

Batten International (RAC) has two runways, and in this airport map print they cross close to the center of the field in a wide X. Runway 04/22 is the long one at 6,574 feet by 100 feet, concrete. Runway 14/32 measures 4,421 feet by 100 feet in asphalt. The shorter strip runs from upper left down to lower right, the longer one climbs from lower left to upper right, and the two meet just below the middle of the sheet.

That single crossing carries the piece. Taxiways wrap both strips in a softer grey outline, opening into apron shapes along the left edge and into a row of hangar blocks near the bottom. The four ends are labeled 4, 22, 14 and 32 in small type set into the pavement. Down in the corner the identifier RAC sits above Racine, Wisconsin, the coordinates and the field elevation, 674 feet. The field dates to 1941, founded by Carlyle Godske, and during World War II it served as a flight and ground school for the Army. It was renamed John H.
