Made like something you keep.

The field itself

This is San Antonio's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

San Antonio International Airport Runway Diagram Print

This print composes San Antonio International from published airport information and available field depictions. The airport sits north of downtown. Two parallel runways run northwest to southeast, and a third crosses them at an angle, the three converging near their southern ends into a wide open V. Runway 04/22 is the longest at 8,505 feet, its parallel neighbor stretches 8,502 feet, and a shorter 5,519-foot strip runs alongside. The linework is composed to scale from the real layout at 809 feet of elevation.

The airport traces to 1941, when the City of San Antonio bought open land north of what was then the edge of town. Braniff started service in 1943 and American followed a year later. In June 1971 the field was one of three original stops, alongside Dallas and Houston, for a startup called Southwest Airlines.

The diagram reads as a clean record of that field, at home in an office, a hallway, or a room where this Texas gateway means something to whoever passes it.

San Antonio (SAT) print, common questions

How does the SAT print relate to the airport's layout?

Published airport information and available field depictions guide the SAT composition, including the runway designators and relative geometry. It is original wall art, so fine details may be simplified or omitted.

Which runways are shown on the SAT print?

All three. Runway 04/22 is the longest at 8,505 feet, a parallel runway runs 8,502 feet, and a shorter 5,519-foot runway sits beside them. The airport's elevation of 809 feet is noted on the print.

What do the numbers along the runways mean?

Each runway is labeled by its compass heading rounded to the nearest ten degrees, so 04 points roughly northeast and 22 marks the opposite direction. The R and L show right and left when two runways sit parallel.

How is the print made and shipped?

Each one is made to order and shipped free within the United States. The diagram is composed at the size you select so the linework stays crisp on the wall.

Will it match my room?

The layout stays the same across sizes, and you pick the ground tone that suits your space. It works on its own or grouped with other airports you have flown through.
