New Braunfels National Airport Runway Diagram Print

New Braunfels National works two asphalt runways, and on this print they lean together into a narrow V. Runway 13/31 is the long one, 6,503 by 100 feet, falling across the sheet from upper left to lower right. Runway 17/35 measures 5,364 by 100 feet and drops almost straight down the page, joining 13/31 up near the top so the two legs open outward as they run. Everything else is quiet gray: the taxiway spine, the apron shelf on the east side, and the small blocks of hangars stepping down toward the bottom corner. Field elevation is 658 feet.

The airport is a public use field in Guadalupe County, owned by the city of New Braunfels and sitting four nautical miles east of the central business district, on 900 acres. It was known earlier as New Braunfels Regional Airport, and from 1940 to 1967 the property operated as Clear Springs Air Force Base. Today it is a general aviation facility, and as of 2017 there were 145 aircraft based here. That is the kind of field this diagram is: no terminal loops, no concourse fingers, just two long strips and the pavement that feeds them.
