The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Pangborn Memorial Airport Runway Diagram Print
Pangborn Memorial works from a single runway, 12/30, 7,000 feet long and 150 feet wide on asphalt, and the print hands it the entire page. One dark bar runs corner to corner, dropping from the upper left down to the lower right, with the 12 designator set at the top end and the 30 at the bottom. There is no second strip to balance it and none is needed. A lone diagonal is the cleanest thing a field can give a wall, and this one uses the full diagonal of the sheet.
Everything else is grey and quieter. A taxiway loop parallels the runway on its upper right side, widening into apron and terminal shapes near the middle, and rows of small hangar blocks stack along the right edge. A former runway, now closed, still reads as a pale line angling across the left of the field. Elevation is 1,249 feet, printed under the identifier with the coordinates, and the 12/30 numbers follow magnetic headings at a field with a published magnetic variation of 15E. The whole thing is composed from published airport information, then stripped back until only the shapes that matter survive.
The name belongs to Clyde Pangborn, who in 1931 became the first pilot to fly non-stop across the Pacific Ocean and, aiming for Seattle, put down at Wenatchee instead. The airport sits four miles east of that city, in Douglas County, and is owned by the Ports of Chelan and Douglas Counties. An expansion of the runway to 7,000 feet was approved in 2009. On a wall it is a strong, simple anchor, and it groups easily with other prints from this part of the state, Moses Lake and Yakima among them.
