The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport Runway Diagram Print
Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport works two runways, and the print is built around the crossing they make. Runway 02/20 is 9,000 by 150 feet and runs the long way down the sheet, close to north and south and tilted a few degrees off it. Runway 15/33, at 5,000 by 75 feet, comes in from the northwest and cuts across it near the middle, so the two make a lopsided X with one arm most of the way to twice the other. Field elevation is 270 feet and magnetic variation is 14W. Taxiways, ramp and hangar footprints gather down the western side of the long runway, which leaves the eastern half of the field almost empty, and that emptiness does as much for the composition as the pavement does.
The field started as a gift. In 1923 citizens of Westfield and nearby Holyoke set out to build an airport, and Vincent E. Barnes, who owned the ground, donated a 27 acre plot that was dedicated as Westfield Aviation Field on October 12, 1923. In 1936 Mrs. Barnes and her daughter Saddie Knox gave the city another 297 acres, and the City Council voted to name the airport for the family. Scheduled flying came early: on October 28, 1937 a ten passenger tri-motor Stinson began weekly service between Westfield and Newark, New Jersey, and American Airlines ran DC-3s out of the field from 1938 to 1950. The airport has since expanded to 1,200 acres, and its control tower opened in 1974.
The same plain carried soldiers before it carried aircraft. Camp Bartlett was a Massachusetts Army National Guard summer training facility here from 1905 to around 1918, and after the United States entered World War I it became a mobilization camp for the 103rd and 104th Infantry Regiments of the 26th Yankee Division. The airport is also known as Barnes Air National Guard Base, and as of 2020 the Massachusetts Air National Guard base on the field was home to the 104th Fighter Wing. On the print, runway designators, lengths and widths follow the published figures, and taxiways and apron edges are reduced to flat geometry over the ground tone you choose.
