The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Cherry Capital Airport Runway Diagram Print
Cherry Capital reads as a cross on the wall, one long bar and one short one. Runway 10/28 runs east to west at 7,016 by 150 feet of asphalt, and runway 18/36 runs north to south at 5,378 by 150 feet. They meet well left of center in the frame, which throws most of the long runway out to the east and leaves the north end of 18 standing clear above everything else. Field elevation is 624 feet, and it is set in small type under the city line.
The layout on the paper is what survived a lot of editing. The airport opened in 1936 as Traverse City Airport with four runways, and all but one of those have since been replaced, with remnants of the older ones still sitting on and around the property. In 2004 a new terminal opened on the south side of the east to west runway, replacing the old one on the north side, and that same reconfiguration removed the third diagonal runway. What the print shows is the pair that remain, plus the ladder of taxiway connectors stacked above and below the long runway.
The field sits two nautical miles southeast of the central business district of Traverse City, and it is home to U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City, operational since 1946. In 2023 it handled 700,699 total passengers, third in Michigan behind the fields serving Detroit and Grand Rapids. Up close there is plenty to read: labeled thresholds, apron edges, the buildings massed along the north side.
