The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Palmdale Regional Airport Runway Diagram Print
Palmdale Regional Airport reads as a shallow wedge on paper. Two runways past 12,000 feet sit at different angles and lean toward each other near the top right of the sheet, stopping just short of meeting. Runway 07/25 runs almost flat across the frame at 12,002 feet long and 200 feet wide, its ends marked 7 and 25. Runway 04/22 climbs from lower left to upper right at 12,001 feet by 150 feet, marked 4 and 22. Both surfaces are concrete, and both are drawn heavy and black against pale taxiway shapes.

It is used as an assault strip. Runway 07/25 was built to withstand an 8.3 Richter Scale earthquake, which makes it one of the world's strongest runways, and knowing that changes how the widest bar on the wall looks.
The field sits in the Antelope Valley, roughly 60 miles from downtown Los Angeles, at an elevation of 2,543 feet. In 1940 Palmdale Army Airfield was activated as an emergency landing strip and for B-25 Mitchell medium bomber support training during World War II. From 1968 to 1984 Lockheed assembled 250 TriStar wide body jetliners at a manufacturing plant located at the airport. In 2013 the city of Palmdale took over the airport, managing it through the Palmdale Airport Authority.
