Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Coeur d'Alene Airport Runway Diagram Print
Coeur d'Alene Airport works two asphalt runways that very nearly meet at one end, and the print is built on that shape. Runway 06/24 is 7,400 by 100 feet and carries across the frame from the west end of the field up to the northeast; runway 02/20 is 5,400 by 75 feet and rises from the south to finish alongside the 24 threshold. The two strips read as a long narrow wedge closing at the northeast corner, and the ground caught inside it, a full length parallel taxiway, apron shapes and rows of small hangar blocks, does as much work in the composition as the pavement does. Field elevation is 2,320 feet above sea level, set in the margin, and magnetic variation is 19E.
The field was built as Coeur d'Alene Municipal Airport in 1942 by the Corps of Engineers, laid out with two 5,400 foot runways whose asphalt paving began that July. The paving contract went to Roy S. Bair of Spokane, Washington, and a separate contract covered lighting for the field. Against that starting point the published figures give 06/24 as 7,400 feet, so one strip has grown well past the wartime layout while the other holds its original length, and both lengths sit in the same drawing.
It is a county owned, public use field in Kootenai County, nine miles northwest of the central business district of Coeur d'Alene, with the city of Hayden wrapped around it on three sides. Known as Coeur d'Alene Air Terminal until September 2007, it was renamed Coeur d'Alene Airport / Pappy Boyington Field for Col. Gregory Boyington, the World War II ace and Medal of Honor recipient born in the city in 1912.
