Lewiston/Nez Perce County Airport Runway Diagram Print

LWS gives the print two runways: 08/26 at 6,511 by 150 feet and 12/30 at 5,003 by 75 feet, both asphalt. In the drawing the long one lies nearly level across the lower half of the frame, tipping down a little as it runs toward the 26 end. The shorter one comes in from the upper left on a steep diagonal and stops just short of the long strip instead of crossing it. The pair reads as a narrow V opening back to the northwest, and that gap where you expect an intersection is what keeps the composition from feeling symmetrical.

Field elevation is 1,442 feet. The airport sits south of downtown Lewiston on high ground above the Snake and Clearwater rivers, and it is owned by the city of Lewiston and Nez Perce County.
