Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Aurora State Airport Runway Diagram Print
UAO is a one runway field, and the print is honest about that. Runway 17/35 is asphalt, 5,003 by 100 feet, sitting at 200 feet of elevation, and it lands on the sheet as one long dark strip running close to top to bottom with a few degrees of lean. A parallel taxiway shadows it on the east side, and every other shape on the page, apron, hangar rows, the tight combs of T hangars near the north end, is packed into a band along that same side. The result is a composition with a hard vertical spine and a wide margin of quiet paper to its west, which is why it hangs well in a narrow space where a sprawling multi runway diagram would fight the wall.
The field was built by the United States Army Air Forces in 1943 as Aurora Flight Strip, an outlying airfield supporting Portland Army Air Base for aircraft on training flights. It closed after World War II and was turned over for state government use by the War Assets Administration. It is now owned by the Oregon Department of Aviation and sits about one mile northwest of the central business district of Aurora, in Marion County. In 2009 the Oregon State Legislature passed a resolution identifying it as Wes Lematta Field at Aurora State Airport, after the founder of Columbia Helicopters.
The airport covers 144 acres and sits in the busy airspace corridor between Salem McNary Field and Portland International Airport, which is part of why a control tower was built and opened in 2015, with the airspace at UAO redesignated Class D. On the print, none of that traffic shows. What shows is geometry: a straight 5,003 foot line, the taxiway running with it, and the working clutter of a general aviation field held to one flank.
