Fine Art Print: 8 x 10, 16 x 20, and 24 x 30 inches.

Made like something you keep.

The field itself

This is Houston's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

Houston Executive Airport Runway Diagram Print

Houston Executive (TME) works with a single runway, 18/36, measuring 6,610 by 100 feet of asphalt, and the print hands that one strip the entire page. It runs vertically, dark and unbroken, with the 18 threshold at the top edge and 36 at the bottom. Nothing crosses it. There is no second runway to balance against, so the composition lives or dies on that one long line, and it holds up: a hard vertical against a wide, quiet field of paper.

The supporting geometry is what keeps it from being a stripe. A full length parallel taxiway shadows the runway down its west side, tied in by short connector stubs that read like rungs on a ladder. Below midfield, one lead-in taxiway breaks west toward the apron, where a block of ramp, a row of T shaped hangar bays and a scatter of buildings sit as the only dense cluster in the frame. Everything else is margin. The title block in the lower corner carries the identifier, the coordinates and ELEV 166 FT, so the numbers stay small and the layout stays the subject.

The field itself is privately owned, sitting on 1,280 acres in unincorporated Waller County about 28 nmi west of Downtown Houston. It opened in 2007, funded by area businessman and pilot Ron Henriksen, and its founder said in 2007 that the business plan was aimed at companies in the Energy Corridor. The airport's executive director said in 2007 that the field could compete with Sugar Land Regional Airport in Sugar Land, Texas, helped by its position near Interstate 10. TME is the airport's three letter location identifier; it carries no IATA designation, which is part of why the code reads unfamiliar even to people who fly in and out of this metro area.

Houston (TME) print, common questions

How many runways does Houston Executive have, and how long are they?

One runway: 18/36, 6,610 feet long and 100 feet wide, asphalt. That single strip is the dominant vertical element in the print, with the 18 end at the top and the 36 end at the bottom.

What is the field elevation at TME?

166 feet above mean sea level. It is printed in the title block as ELEV 166 FT, alongside the coordinates 29.8050 N and 95.8979 W.

Where is Houston Executive Airport?

In unincorporated Waller County, Texas, about 28 nmi (52 km) west of Downtown Houston and near Brookshire. The airport covers 1,280 acres.

What does the code TME mean?

TME is the airport's three letter location identifier, formerly 78T. The airport has no IATA designation, so TME is the code you will see on charts and flight tracking, and it is the code set in the title block of the print.

How closely does the print follow the published layout?

The runway, the parallel taxiway, the connectors and the apron are plotted from published airport information for cycle 2609, effective 2026-08-06. It is a design piece, not a navigation chart: fine details may be simplified or omitted, and pavement markings, lighting and minor structures are not all shown.

What sizes are available, and does it work as a gift?

Several print sizes are offered, and the diagram is composed so the single north to south runway stays legible from small formats up to the large ones. Each piece is made to order in the colorway you choose. It lands well for a pilot who trains or based out of this field, a Waller County local, or anyone who knows the drive out Interstate 10.
