Materials
Fine Art Print: pigment giclée printing on heavyweight 330 gsm (17 mil), 100% cotton Hot Press paper, on regularly calibrated giclée printers. The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Safford Regional/1lt Duane Spalsbury Field Runway Diagram Print
SAD is a two runway field, and on the wall it reads as one long X. Runway 12/30 runs corner to corner across the sheet, 6007 by 100 feet of asphalt, while 8/26 lies almost flat left to right at 4802 by 60 feet. The two cross above center, high and off to the left of the frame, which leaves the lower right of the print open. Field elevation is 3178 feet. The apron, hangar rows and taxiway loops gather along the southwest side of the crossing, so the drawing has a busy corner and a lot of quiet paper around it.
Safford Regional was built as a military auxiliary field during World War II, and the site passed to the City of Safford afterward. Scheduled flying came later: the original Frontier Airlines began service to Safford in 1950, and by 1956 the route it flew had been redirected from Phoenix to Albuquerque with stops at Tucson, Safford and Clifton. Frontier's service ended in 1964. Cochise Airlines flew the field again briefly in 1974 and 1975. None of that history is printed on the sheet, but it is what the pavement was cut for.
The composition is plotted from published airport information, cycle 2610, and the print keeps the geometry doing the work: runway numbers set in the pavement ends, the ident and coordinates blocked in the lower right, nothing else competing. It hangs well in a hallway or above a desk, and the diagonal of 12/30 gives it more movement than a single strip field would. Every size is printed to order in the colorway you choose.
