The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.

Dimensions

Fine Art Print: 8 x 10, 16 x 20, and 24 x 30 inches.

Made like something you keep.

The field itself

This is Livermore's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

Livermore Municipal Airport Runway Diagram Print

Livermore Municipal (LVK) is a two runway field at 400 feet of elevation in Livermore, California, and the print draws both strips as a parallel pair. The upper bar is 7L/25R, the longer of the two at 5253 feet by 100 feet. Below it sits 7R/25L, 2699 feet by 75 feet. Both surfaces are asphalt, and both are rendered as solid dark bands with their end numbers set into the pavement.

What makes the composition work is the offset. The short runway does not sit flush under the long one: it begins well inside the left threshold of 7L/25R and stops short of the right end, so the two bands read as one long line with a second, heavier accent tucked beneath it. Between them, a ladder of connector taxiways breaks the white space into regular rungs. A broad apron block runs along the top edge of the field, and two clusters of hangar rows anchor the right side of the drawing, one above the runway pair and one below. Everything else is left as quiet ground, which is why the two black bars carry the whole image from across a room.

The 07 and 25 numbers come from magnetic alignment, with the field carrying a magnetic variation of 16E, and the L and R suffixes separate the left and right runway of the parallel pair. That gives LVK a layout that hangs well next to other Bay Area diagrams: Hayward is roughly 27 km away and Palo Alto about 37 km, each with a very different footprint on paper. Framed in a hallway or set over a desk, the Livermore sheet stays legible at a glance and rewards a closer look at the taxiway geometry.

Livermore (LVK) print, common questions

How many runways does LVK have, and how long are they?

Two. 7L/25R measures 5253 feet by 100 feet, and 7R/25L measures 2699 feet by 75 feet. Both are asphalt, and both appear on the print as parallel bands with their designators marked at each end.

Where is Livermore Municipal, and what is the field elevation?

It is in Livermore, California, at 37.6934 degrees north and 121.8204 degrees west. Field elevation is 400 feet, which is printed in the caption block beside the coordinates.

What do 7L, 25R, 7R and 25L mean on the artwork?

They are runway end designators taken from magnetic alignment, and this field has a magnetic variation of 16E. Each strip carries two numbers because you can use it from either direction, and the L and R letters tell the two parallel runways apart.

How accurate is the layout compared to the published airport diagram?

Runways, taxiway connectors, aprons and hangar rows are plotted from published airport information for cycle 2610, effective 2026-09-03. It is a wall piece first, so fine details may be simplified or omitted. Painted markings, lighting, signage and small ground equipment are the usual examples.

What formats does this LVK artwork come in?

Four: Fine Art Print, Framed Fine Art Print, Glossy Metal Print and Digital Download. Several sizes are offered, and the same Livermore composition is used across the colorway you choose. Physical pieces are made to order; the digital option is a file.

Is this a good gift for a pilot who flies out of Livermore?

Yes, particularly for anyone who trained on 7L/25R or based an aircraft in the hangar rows shown on the east side of the field. The identifier, city, coordinates and 400 foot elevation are all set in the caption, so it reads as a specific place rather than generic aviation art.
