The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Ellison Onizuka Kona International at Keahole Airport Runway Diagram Print
KOA is a single runway field, and the print keeps that honesty: one dark strip, marked 17 at the top and 35 at the bottom, running most of the height of the sheet. Runway 17/35 measures 11,000 by 150 feet on an asphalt and concrete surface, so at that length it carries the composition without help. Field elevation is 51 feet, set under the coordinates in the lower corner beside the identifier.
The strip is not quite vertical. It leans a few degrees, which puts the whole diagram on a slight diagonal that registers before you read a single number. Grey taxiways run alongside it and pool into apron and building shapes on one side only, all of them to the right of the runway, leaving a wide bank of open paper on the left. Published airport information guides the relative runway geometry, and the result is a long quiet line with the detail gathered at one edge.
That line has a history. The airport opened in 1970 on ground built by the 1801 Huehue lava flow from Hualalai, which pushed the shoreline out and created Keahole Point. In 1994 the runway was extended to 11,000 feet, second longest in the Hawaiian Islands after Honolulu, which allowed much larger aircraft to use the field. In 2017 it was renamed for astronaut Ellison Onizuka, who was born and raised in Kona and died in the Challenger disaster.
This is the leeward, western side of Hawaii island, about 7 miles from the Kailua-Kona town site, and the terminal complex of single story buildings sits along the eastern edge of the airfield.
