The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Kalaeloa Airport Runway Diagram Print
Kalaeloa Airport has three runways, and every one of them is 200 feet wide, which is what gives this print its unusual weight. Runway 11/29 is the longest at 8,365 feet, and a parallel pair crosses it: 04R/22L at 7,989 feet and the shorter 04L/22R at 4,505 feet. Plotted to scale from published field information, the three strips read as broad slabs rather than the thin ribbons most fields give you, which is the signature a naval air station leaves behind. Field elevation is 32 feet, and the magnetic variation of 11E sits small in the corner the way a chart notes it.
That is exactly what this was. Naval Air Station Barbers Point closed under base realignment in the late 1990s, its P-3C Orions and SH-60B Seahawks moving across the island to Kaneohe Bay, and the state opened Kalaeloa Airport on the site on July 1, 1999 as a joint civil and military field, replacing the Ford Island facilities that had shut the day before. The Coast Guard air station that had been a tenant of the navy base stayed on when the field reopened in 1999. The field is also called John Rodgers Field, a name that once belonged to Honolulu International, and it sits among Ewa Beach, Kapolei and Campbell Industrial Park in West Oahu. On 3 July 2015 Solar Impulse 2 came down here at the end of its leg from Japan, the longest non-stop solo flight ever flown in a fixed wing airplane.
