The field itself

This is Chattanooga's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

Lovell Field Runway Diagram Print

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, known as Lovell Field, sits about five miles east of downtown Chattanooga in Hamilton County, Tennessee. Its two asphalt runways cross near the middle of the field: 2/20 runs 7,400 feet as the primary strip, and 15/33 stretches 5,575 feet, meeting in the scissor-like X that anchors this print.

On the wall, that crossing geometry carries the whole composition. The longer 2/20 runs nearly the full height of the frame while 15/33 cuts across it at an angle, and the two dark runway bars read clearly against the paler taxiways, aprons and terminal buildings plotted around them. Published airport information guides the linework, keeping the field's proportions recognizable.

The field is named for John Lovell, who helped open an airport at this site in 1930. For travelers it is a quieter option than the larger hubs at Atlanta or Nashville, both within driving distance. The coordinates and the 683-foot field elevation are printed along the lower edge as a compact reference to the place.
