The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Double Eagle II Airport Runway Diagram Print
Double Eagle II Airport works two asphalt runways that never touch, and that separation is what gives the print its shape. Runway 04/22 is 7,398 by 100 feet and crosses the sheet as one long diagonal, climbing from the lower left toward the northeast. Runway 17/35 is 5,983 by 100 feet and stands off to the east as a straight north to south bar. Their north ends stop close to each other near the top of the frame without meeting, so the two strips open away from each other in a wide V and the ground between them does as much work in the composition as the pavement. Field elevation is 5,837 feet above sea level, and magnetic variation is 11E.
The field sits on the far west side of Albuquerque, seven miles northwest of the central business district in Bernalillo County, and is owned by the City of Albuquerque. Construction began in 1982, and the name comes from the Double Eagle II balloon, the first balloon to cross the Atlantic Ocean, flown by Ben Abruzzo, Maxie Anderson and Larry Newman. It was built as a general aviation reliever to take over from several smaller airports around the city that have since closed, and it is the city's second airport after Albuquerque International Sunport. In 2018 the field logged 78,860 aircraft operations, an average of 216 a day.
