The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

The ROC print composes Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International from published airport information and available field depictions. The airport sits about three miles southwest of downtown Rochester, in Monroe County, New York. Three runways read clearly at this scale. The longest, 04/22, runs 8,001 feet on a northeast to southwest diagonal and crosses the 6,402-foot 10/28 near the top of the field, while the shorter 07/25, at 4,000 feet, sits on its own toward the southeast. The field elevation of 559 feet is set into the lower corner with the coordinates.
Aviation here goes back to Britton Field, which was used for flying as early as 1919. Charles Lindbergh brought the Spirit of St. Louis in during the summer of 1927, and the field grew out of those early years of air races that pitted local fliers against rivals from Buffalo and Syracuse. In 2020 Monroe County renamed the airport in honor of Frederick Douglass, who spent much of his life in Rochester. Inside the terminal, one concourse carries his name and the other honors Susan B. Anthony.
