The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Portsmouth International at Pease Airport Runway Diagram Print
PSM is a one runway field, and the print is built around that single line: runway 16/34, 11,322 feet long and 150 feet wide, cutting from the upper left of the sheet down to the lower right. The 16 threshold sits at the top of the diagonal, the 34 threshold at the bottom, and nothing crosses it anywhere along its length. Field elevation is 100 feet. The pavement is concrete and asphalt, which is a lot of surface for one stroke of ink.
What fills out the composition is everything running beside that stroke. A broad pale band of taxiway and apron pavement sits parallel to the runway on the right hand side of the print, wider than the runway itself, with building footprints stepping down its outer edge in two weights of grey. Two small round pads float alone near the top. The result reads as one confident diagonal with a busy shoulder, which is why it hangs well in a tall narrow space where a field full of crossing strips would turn to clutter.
The airport sits about one nautical mile west of the central business district of Portsmouth, inside the Pease International Tradeport, the redevelopment of the former Pease Air Force Base that closed under Base Realignment and Closure Commission action in the late 1980s and early 1990s. That military history is the reason the line on your wall is as long as it is. Pease also served NASA as a Launch Abort Site and an Emergency Landing Site for Space Shuttle orbiters. In 1994, Business Express flew Delta Connection commuter services into the airport from Boston, New York LaGuardia and New York Newark, using turboprops that needed a fraction of the concrete drawn here.
