The field itself

This is Lincoln's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

Lincoln Airport Runway Diagram Print

Lincoln Airport is built around one exceptionally long runway. Runway 18/36 stretches 12,901 feet, far more pavement than a field this size would seem to need, and that length is no accident: it was named a designated emergency landing site for the Space Shuttle, and it is rated to take heavy military aircraft such as the C-5 Galaxy. In the diagram it reads as a single bold line running almost the full height of the field, with a second runway, 14/32 at 8,649 feet, crossing it at an angle, and a shorter 5,801-foot strip, 17/35, sitting off to the east and running roughly parallel to the main runway.

The field lies about five miles northwest of downtown Lincoln, the Nebraska state capital, at an elevation of 1,219 feet, and it has worn many roles: Charles Lindbergh learned to fly here in 1922. As of 2026, the field is home to the Nebraska Air National Guard's 155th Air Refueling Wing. Our print keeps to what the airfield actually is. Published airport information guides the runway set, including the relative crossing angles and the offset of the eastern strip, so the geometry remains recognizable on the wall. Set against your chosen ground tone, the long primary runway anchors the composition the same way it anchors the field. A predecessor of United began serving Lincoln in 1927, beginning the field's long airline history. For a regional set, consider the Denver field as a companion piece.
