The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Ketchikan International Airport Runway Diagram Print
Ketchikan International Airport draws as a single line. Runway 11/29, 7,500 by 150 feet of asphalt, runs corner to corner across the sheet from northwest to southeast, with a parallel taxiway looping off its northwest end and the terminal and apron set against its northeast side about halfway along. Published airport information also lists a water runway, WNW/ESE, 9,500 feet long, for seaplanes working the Tongass Narrows; a water lane leaves no pavement to plot, so the print stays one strong diagonal with nothing to compete with it. Field elevation is 92 feet above sea level and magnetic variation is 21E, a large enough offset that the plotted headings sit well off true north.
The airport is on Gravina Island, just west of Ketchikan across the Tongass Narrows, and there is no road to it. Passengers ride a seven minute ferry, with two departures an hour in each direction, and neither Ketchikan nor Revillagigedo Island has any land connection to the mainland. A bridge to replace the ferry was designed and then defunded when Congress reversed its decision in 2007. Before this field existed, longer range flights to Ketchikan used an old military airfield on Annette Island about 20 air miles south, with Grumman Goose and Consolidated PBY Catalina amphibians linking that airport to the Ketchikan Harbor Seaplane Base.
The airport opened on August 4, 1973, and Alaska Airlines flew the first jet service in from Seattle that same day with a Boeing 720. Taxiway Bravo was added in 2004 so aircraft could reach the end of runway 11, which sits above the apron on the hillside and needs long, gently sloped taxiways at either end; that slope is why the taxiway shapes on the drawing run so far and bend so gradually. In 2023 the airport handled 148,645 passenger boardings.
