The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Huron Regional Airport Runway Diagram Print
Huron Regional Airport works two concrete runways, and the print is built on the way they cross. Runway 12/30 runs 7,201 by 100 feet as a long diagonal falling from the upper left of the frame to the lower right, with a parallel taxiway shadowing it for most of that length. Runway 18/36, 5,000 by 75 feet, drops straight down the sheet and cuts the diagonal past its midpoint, so the crossing sits low and off center rather than in the middle. Field elevation is 1,289 feet above sea level and magnetic variation is 7E. The terminal and hangar blocks gather to the east of the crossing, and the rest of the sheet stays open, which is a fair impression of a field covering 1,235 acres.
The airport opened in 1937 as the W. W. Howes Municipal Airport, named for William Washington Howes, First Assistant Postmaster General under Franklin Roosevelt, who brought airmail service to the Midwest. The hangar on the field was named the W. W. Howes hangar in 1998, through the efforts of Howes' grandson Dr. Whiting Wicker. The terminal that stands there opened in 1979.
For decades the field sat on propeller routes that read like a timetable of the middle of the country. In 1948 Western Douglas DC-3s stopped at Huron on a multi-stop run between Denver and Minneapolis/St. Paul, and in 1962 North Central flew a daily DC-3 that began at Regina, Saskatchewan and worked south through Bismarck, Aberdeen, Huron, Mitchell, Sioux Falls and Sioux City to Omaha. In the year ending August 2022 the field logged 12,200 aircraft operations, 98 percent of them general aviation, with 21 aircraft based on it.
