Materials
Fine Art Print: pigment giclée printing on heavyweight 330 gsm (17 mil), 100% cotton Hot Press paper, on regularly calibrated giclée printers. The paper is acid-free and archival-grade, with a smooth matte surface and the high color gamut and black density that let a dark ground and fine linework keep their depth. Supplied unframed, with no added white margin, ready for your own frame.
Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Grand Rapids/Itasca County-Gordon Newstrom Field Runway Diagram Print
GPZ is plotted as two asphalt runways that cross: 16/34 at 5,756 feet by 100 feet, and 05/23 at 3,000 feet by 60 feet. On the wall that reads as one long strip tilted slightly off vertical, with the shorter strip cutting across it at a diagonal well up toward the top. The crossing point sits high in the frame, which leaves the lower two thirds of the print as a single clean line running down the page. A taxiway runs alongside 16/34 for most of its length, and the apron and hangar shapes gather in the upper left corner, so the weight of the drawing is off center rather than centered and static.
The field is a public airport two miles southeast of the central business district of Grand Rapids, in Itasca County, and it also carries the name Gordon Newstrom Field. Mesaba Airlines set up here as a fixed base operator in 1949 and began scheduled flights to Minneapolis in 1973. Scheduled service continued through an affiliation with Northwest Airlines until 2004. None of that history is printed on the sheet, but it is the reason a field drawn this simply still has a long runway on it.
