North Palm Beach County General Aviation Airport Runway Diagram Print

F45 reads as two long east-west runways with a single diagonal laid across them. The asphalt 09R/27L is the longest at 4,300 by 100 feet and stretches across the lower half of the sheet. Above it sits the turf 09L/27R, shorter at 3,679 by 75 feet, rendered in a lighter stippled tone so the grass surface is legible without reading a caption. The diagonal 14/32, 4,299 by 75 feet of asphalt, begins up at the turf strip and runs down to the right, cutting 09R/27L near its eastern end. Three runways, one crossing that the eye finds first.

The field is an uncontrolled, non-towered general aviation airport northwest of West Palm Beach, owned by Palm Beach County and opened in 1994 as the county's newest airport. Environmental preserves wrap the property, and the airport is a designated reliever for Palm Beach International. An on-demand jet air taxi once ran from here to Boca Raton and other Florida cities until the operator went into bankruptcy liquidation in 2008.
