Cannon AFB Runway Diagram Print

Two runways cross near the center of the CVS diagram, and that crossing carries the whole composition. Runway 04/22 climbs from the lower left to the upper right at 10,003 feet long and 150 feet wide, with concrete listed as its published surface. Runway 13/31 cuts the other way, upper left down to lower right, 8,196 feet long and also 150 feet wide, its surface recorded as PEM. Neither strip is horizontal, so the print reads as a tilted X rather than a grid.

The two paved strips sit dark against everything else. Taxiways, aprons and the ramp edges are held back in a lighter grey, which is what gives the artwork its depth: a long apron running up the left side of 04/22, a second one down along the lower right, and a scatter of small building blocks beading the edges of both. The crossing point lands left of the frame's middle, which leaves open space on the right and below. That asymmetry is the reason this one hangs well on its own, without needing a gallery wall to prop it up. Runway end numbers 4, 22, 13 and 31 are set into the ends of the strips where you would find them on a published airport chart.
