Description

A runway diagram map print of Branson Airport (BBG), made from the airport's own layout for the place it holds in your life. Choose your colorway and your format: a fine art giclée print on cotton paper, a framed fine art print, a glossy metal print or a digital download.

The field itself

This is Branson's own layout, the way its runways run and the taxiways thread between them, composed into a print you will want to look at every day. Not a stock template with a new name on it.

Museum-quality cotton paper

Heavyweight 330 gsm, 100% cotton Hot Press paper, acid-free and archival-grade. Its high color gamut and black density give the runways real depth, and pigment inks keep the fine detail crisp on a smooth matte surface.

Solid wood framing or glossy metal

Frame it in 1.25 inch solid wood, black, white or natural oak, with the white beveled mat, optical-grade clear acrylic and hanging wire included. Or choose glossy metal: dye sublimation into aluminum, floated about 3/4 inch off the wall on a hidden mount.

Branson Airport Runway Diagram Print

Branson Airport works with a single runway, 14/32, and the print hands that one strip the entire sheet. It measures 7,140 by 150 feet with a concrete surface, and the field sits at 1,302 feet above sea level. One runway means the composition has nowhere to hide: the whole design rests on the angle of one line and the pale ground around it.

On the wall it reads as a long dark diagonal running from the upper left, where the 14 threshold is marked, down to the lower right and the 32 end. Each end finishes in a hooked turnaround loop, small closed shapes that keep the strip from simply falling off the page. A taxiway leaves the runway partway along and bends up and to the right into a cluster of apron and building blocks, the only dense area in the frame. Everything else is margin. That imbalance, one heavy stroke against a wide quiet field, is what makes the sheet look composed rather than crowded.

The airport opened in 2009 on ground in Taney County, southeast of downtown Branson, and building it meant flattening several Ozark Mountains to get a level surface. Before that, people flying commercially used the airport at Springfield, northwest of Branson. As of 2025 there is no scheduled passenger service here, which gives the diagram a particular character: a full-length concrete runway and a terminal apron, drawn plainly, with the quiet built into the layout rather than added to it.

Branson (BBG) print, common questions

How many runways does Branson Airport have?

One. Runway 14/32 measures 7,140 by 150 feet with a concrete surface, and it is the single diagonal strip you see crossing the print from upper left to lower right.

What is BBG?

BBG is Branson Airport's three-letter location identifier, and it is the code set in large type at the lower right of the sheet, under the city and state line.

Where is the airport, and how high is it?

It sits south-southeast of downtown Branson, in Taney County, Missouri, at a field elevation of 1,302 feet. The coordinates and elevation are printed in the caption block.

How closely does the print follow the published layout?

The runway, taxiways and apron shapes are plotted from published airport data for a cycle effective in 2026, so the 14/32 orientation and proportions follow that record. It is a print, not a navigation chart: fine details such as markings, lighting, signage and minor pavement edges are simplified or omitted, and it should never be used for flight.

What sizes are available?

Several print sizes are offered, and the layout scales cleanly because it is built from one long diagonal rather than a dense multi-runway field. Choose the colorway you want and the diagram is rendered to suit it. Each piece is made to order and ships free within the US.

Does this work as a gift?

It suits anyone with a Branson connection: a pilot who has flown into 14/32, someone who worked at the field, or a family that lived under the approach. The airport name, city, state and identifier are printed on the sheet, so the reference is clear without explanation.
