Framed Fine Art Print: the same cotton fine art paper in a 1.25 inch solid wood frame. A white, acid-free, 4-ply mat with a 45-degree bevel and optical-grade, shatter-resistant clear acrylic (safer to ship than glass) are included. The print is mounted to foam core for a flat presentation, with a kraft paper dust cover and installed hanging wire on the back.
Glossy Metal Print: the image is transferred by dye sublimation into polymer-coated aluminum with a glossy white base. The 1.14 mm panel has a scratch- and water-resistant surface, with a hidden inset mount that positions it about 3/4 inch off the wall. Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.

Augusta State Airport Runway Diagram Print
AUG is a two runway field, and both runways carry the composition. The long strip, 17/35, runs almost the full height of the sheet on a slight tilt, entering at the upper left and dropping toward the bottom of the frame. The shorter 8/26 climbs from the lower left up to the right, and the two meet low in the print, crossing at a narrow angle that reads as a lopsided X rather than a tidy plus sign. All the built clutter sits off to the right of that crossing: pale taxiway loops, an apron, and a cluster of hangar blocks that gives the eye somewhere to land after the long diagonal.
The numbers behind the drawing are modest and specific. Runway 17/35 is 5,002 by 100 feet of asphalt, 8/26 is 2,613 by 75 feet, and the field sits at 352 feet above sea level, printed under the code along with the coordinates. That length difference is why the layout works on a wall: one bold stroke doing most of the visual work, one shorter stroke cutting across it, and a lot of quiet ground around both. Augusta State Airport sits one nautical mile west of the central business district of Augusta, the state capital, and it is owned by the state of Maine while the city of Augusta manages and operates it. The field covers 406 acres and traces back to a New Deal project by the Maine Emergency Relief Administration in 1934, which followed a statewide survey of airports by Capt. Harry M. Jones. Runway 17/35, the long diagonal in the print, was reconstructed in the summer of 2012, when the old surface was ground up and reclaimed and the lighting and navigational aids were upgraded. In 2018, 37 aircraft were based at the airport, most of them single engine.
