Guam airport map prints
Guam is one island a long way from anything, and its flying is defined by the ocean on every side. Guam International at Tamuning sits 305 feet above the sea with two long parallel runways, 06L/24R at 12,014 feet and 06R/24L at 10,014 feet, both laid southwest to northeast along the length of the island. They are the only paved public-use runways in the territory, so the field carries everything that comes and goes by air, from the short hops to the neighboring Marianas to the long flights across the Pacific. On paper the layout is clean and confident: two even strips, a wide apron between them, and nothing but open ground and water beyond, which is what makes it such a strong single subject.

Flying in Guam
Flying in Guam is Pacific flying: long over-water legs, trade winds, and one big field to return to. A print of Guam International is a pair of parallel lines and a great deal of implied ocean. Published airport information guides each composition's relative runway lengths and bearings, with fine details simplified for wall art.
